Archive utility not moving to trash afeter compressed - prefs not working?

I’m not sure if this is relevant, seem to remember the question being asked before (and other Archive Utility Preference ones) for different OS’s, as per this search.

But never noticed this post which might contain the answer, in that Contextual Menu doesn’t employ said Archive Utility (or didn’t).

I suppose that’s Apple for you, the saying “it just works” doesn’t always hold true and how you or I would design a process isn’t always how Apple end’s up doing things, it’s frustrating sometimes to say the least.

Saying that, others can do things far worse.
