Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
So after holding out for the new Mac Pro, dissapointing news today with release of the new macBook pro,
no hdmi and no TB 2 ports, just 4 TB 3
ports. And it has the dreaded T2 security chip.
is this the way the new Mac Pro will go also?
Really hoping for TB2 ports aswell as TB 3 ports. From the look of todays news I doubt it.
They'll never go backwards and put TB 2 ports on a new computer now.
The thing to worry about is the throttling when they get hot. They throttle quite badly on the 6 core so unless Apple have done something magical an 8 core will only make it worse.
