Wired ethernet and wired headphones

I want to get a new iPad, but only if I can simultaneously connect a wired Ethernet and wired headphones. So far, internet searches show all sorts of expensive hubs for USB-C that do not seem to do both. Some possibilities are way too complicated anyway. Is there a simple way to do this? For me this is a real deal breaker.

iPad Pro USB C We’re taking a flight later this month and plan to take my iPad (2018 Pro 11 inch) to watch Netflix etc on the plane..... my wife has some wired Beats and I have wireless Bose headphones. If I buy the USB C to 3.5mm adapter, will the iPad allow both wired and wireless connection to the headphones or will I have to buy a 3.5mm splitter too?
