Minecraft won't load past the Loading screen

My son's both have iPad mini's. Up until about a month ago, they were able to play Minecraft with no issue. Now, neither of the apps will work. We contact Mojang, and they said it's an Apple issue. Anyone have suggestions? Is this something is being worked on? One of their iPads updated to a 12.3, and the other stayed at a 12.2. The one with 12.2 was able to play for several days more, until his updated to 12.3 too. What gives? Thanks :)

After an iOS update, it's usually advisable to reboot your device. Have your sons do this on their iPad:

Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past the swipe to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go of both buttons the iPad will reboot. See if they can play Minecraft when they sign back into their iPad's.
