My iTunes download of Melody Gardot which played yesterday now won't play. AND my music library is no longer in alphabetical order. Please help

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. I understand we're missing a download and the library is not in alphabetical order.
For the missing download, try seeing if it's showing up in your purchases: Redownload apps, music, movies, TV shows, and books from the App Store, iTunes Store, and Apple Books - Apple Support
As for sorting, on the section where you see the issue, click View > Sort By in the menu bar. This will provide the options depending on if you want it alphabetical by song title, artist, etc.

Thank you chris_g1 for the info. FOR SORTING: the VIEW and SORT BY worked fine. But the issue with not being able to DOWNLOAD to my iTunes Library was still an issue. Finally resolved it by SEARCH for the album and then BEGIN PLAYING IT and then after a few songs played it was then able to be DOWNLOADED to my iTunes Library on my Mac computer. OS high Sierra 10.13.6 Thanks for your time on this.
