I have the strangest situation with my iPhone 8. Siri stubbornly calls my first name the same as my last name. She says I need to correct my contact info but that’s correct! When she says my first name it is typed correctly on my phone but Siri says my last name every time! This is so weird and frustrating! How can I fix this? Thanks!

Make sure your first and last name are in the correct fields in contacts (First name in the first name field, last name in the last name field). Next, go into settings, then click "Siri", then click "My Information", and make sure the correct contact is selected. If you still have a problem, you might be able to say "Thats not how you say [your name]" to Siri. This should prompt Siri to bring up different pronunciations of your name.

Everything was "entered correctly" on my contact for my information. Your suggestion "That's not how you say" my name worked perfectly! Thanks so much! It's so nice to have Siri call my by my actual first name instead of saying my last name!
