Syncing Apple Music from IPhone to IPad

I have an Apple Music account on my iPhone, however I just recently cleared off my old iPad 4 to start over and my Apple Music isn't showing up. How can I get my Apple Music to show up on my iPad from my iPhone? Help please.

I'm signed into my iCloud account on my iPad and I have Apple Music turned on. I don't understand why it won't download and sync up.

iPad, iOS 10

Do this:

  • first make sure all of the below is turned on in iPhone
  • also in settings - iCloud- perform an iCloud back up, so it saves your phone data

then go to iPad to sync it:

Turn iCloud Music Library off, then on again

On your iPad:

    1. Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it off.
    2. Close Settings.
    3. Go to Settings > Music, then tap iCloud Music Library to turn it on.
    4. Turn on “Show Apple Music”

after you do this close the music app on iPad then open music app and it will load it all.
