Watch update broke step counter

Installed the Apple Watch update last night. Step counter immediately stopped working this morning. (No move or exercise shown in Fitness Tracker) even when I ran the Outdoor Walk exercise app). Was working fine yesterday. It even erased the step count from my phone when they synced.

Try restarting your Watch by pressing and holding the Side Button and swipe on the “power off” slider. Press and hold the Side Button to turn the Watch back on.
