Can't hear record enabled track

Hi, I am trying to record into Logic and I can't hear the record enabled track - I see it is getting a signal but its not making it to the master. What gives? In preferences under audio I've software monitoring and input monitoring both checked. In the photo I tried checking the independent monitoring level box as well - just because I'm at my whits end. Whats the solution?
