Preview is not responding

I use the preview app to edit pdfs and downloaded powerpoint slides. It has just suddenly glitched and now anytime i try and open the app or my work in preview, something else pops up. It says "problem report for preview" and has all these codes when i press more details. it just says to "click reopen to open the application again. the report will be sent to apple automatically" yet every-time i press reopen, the same window pops up.

I've tried shutting down my laptop, restarting it, moving the com.apple.Preview file to my desktop, then deleted it as another suggested but to no avail. If anything i think i've somehow made it worse by deleting it?

my mac version is 10.14.1 . I'm desperate to get all my notes back.

The current version of MacOS Mojave is 10.14.5.

Go to System Preferences > Software Update and update Mojave. Hopefully that will reinstall Preview for you.
