moving apps on ipad mini screen
I can’t get my apps to jiggle on ipad mini screen so that I can move them to another screen

The above ipad is using IOS12.2
No, the apps don’t jiggle when I hold my finger on them. They work correctly on my iPhone but not on my iPad today.
Yes, my iPad has a screen protector and no, it hasn’t been restarted recently. Actually I just was able to solve my problem by turning on Assistive touch (didn’t know it wasn’t on) and adjusting the long-touch setting. I will also use your recommendation to restart my iPad too.
Press and hold on the icon until they all start to jiggle. Then you can move them.
Do they not start to move for you?
