Iphone 6 incorrect battery reading

Hi, after the last software update my phone has started behaving funny. It sometimes tells me the battery charge is very low, while it can still last for a long time (signalling that the reported charge level is incorrect). This never happened before.

Also, looking at the battery in the setting menu, one can see that the battery charge suddenly drops to 1% and stays like that for hours. Restarting the device brings the reading up, but then it drops again. See below for screenshots. I would be glad if you could help me fix this issue. Thanks.

I suggest you start with a forced reset on your iPhone to eliminate any confused software. See If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support for the correct method.

Also... you will see an entry in your screenshots for Battery Health. Hit that and see what it says. If that is poor (below 80%) or the problem persists, Contact Support and arrange to get your iPhone examined by Apple Service.
