I had iCloud installed and working on my Windows 10 PC. A few months later, and it no longer works. I uninstalled and removed all registry entries. I tried to reinstall but the installer failed, with a message of "iCloud for windows installer error........the installer encountered errors before iCloud for windows could be configured".
Can this be fixed?

iCloud wasn't the only app that would not install. I decided to do a clean reinstall of Windows and that resolved my install issues.
Do you have any issues logging into Manage Your Apple ID with the ID that you are trying to use with iCloud?
Per chance are you on a Windows Insider Program track with your Win10 computer? If so, this may be the cause of the installation issue.

I was, for a time, part of the Windows Insider Program, but later opted out and went back to the "normal" version of Windows 10 home.
I went through and completed all the suggestions of repair, uninstall and reinstall but still am receiving the same error.
