I am getting phone calls from an 800 number saying my security has been. Reached and don’t use my phone or iPad?. Automated phone calls trying to get me to call back is this a scam

Security calls from Apple? Hey I’m new to an iPhone but I have received calls in the past couple of days saying that my iPhone has a security issue and that I need to either press one to talk to associate through the phone number or I could go to the website but upon coming to the website I couldn’t find nothing specifically wrong with my phone in my account so is that just another one of these scams going around or this Apple actually do that?

Yes, they are scams. The callers are criminals trying to steal your personal and financial information.
