Apple TV is not passing through HDR to the sound bar. When plugged in directly to the TV it works but not through the sound bar. The HDMI setting on the sound bar have been set to “enhanced” so it should work. So it’s not the cable and I tested another video source and the sound bar did pass through HDR. Please help. Apple TV switches back every time I try to enable HDR.

I solved my issue. Turns out the is a UHD setting for each HDMI connection I had to turn on on my Samsung TV to allow HDR pass through from a secondary device. Direct connection always worked by the setting needed to be turned on to allow pass through from the sound bar. This was not an Apple TV issue.

I am having a similar issue while using the Apple TV 4k via the pass-through on the ST5000 soundbar. The audio and 4k hdr video work when using the pass-through, yet for some reason the apple tv is delayed and the remote keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. Sometime it works fine, but most of the time it is very laggy and almost unusable. Really frustrating and can't help but feel its the result of the soundbar.
