Using iTunes on my iPhone X, the app opens and immediately freezes then quits. It is the only app that has been problematic on my phone.

Hello Ken *****,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that you are having an issue with iTunes crashing when opening on your iPhone. By this, you could mean the Music app or the iTunes Store app is having this issue. In either case, the following support article will allow you to troubleshoot an individual app that is acting up:

If an app unexpectedly quits, stops responding, or won’t open - Apple Support

Should you get the to the point where removing and reinstalling the app becomes necessary, the following support article will help you with that:

Delete built-in Apple apps on your iOS 12 or later device or Apple Watch - Apple Support

Best regards.
