How to stop iTunes from randomly opening on my iPhone

iTunes is always showing as open on my home screen even after I’ve closed the app. How do I stop it from doing this?

iPhone 6s Plus, iOS 12

Check if your iPhone is connected to CarPlay on a car. Whenever you start your car, iPhone gets connected to your Car and opens up iTunes on your iPhone

If you do not want this, Turn bluetooth Off.

iTunes on the phone is an app that is used to search and purchase music. Are you sure you are referring to iTunes, or are you referring to the Music player that is opening? If you are seeing the audio player on the lock screen when you open your phone, it is based on the last audio that was played on your device.
