Heya Blokart,

I can see you're not too pleased with the update over wifi. I can see it would be frustrating having a great iPhone get stuck doing an update on the Apple logo.

With your iPhone 8, can you try a force restart to see if we get anything happening on the screen. It can be tricky. You can try following along with this Youtube video: https://youtu.be/WDkPaI7Ecig?t=18

It's press the Volume Up button and let go quickly, Press the volume down button and let go quickly, and press and hold the side power button for 10-15 seconds.

It may take a few goes, but if you're still not having any luck let's grab a computer with itunes.

When you've opened iTunes, make sure it's up-to-date first - https://www.apple.com/itunes/

We're going to try and get your iPhone into recovery mode so that itunes will recognise the iPhone.

Hold down the side power button and keep holding it down while you connect your iPhone to the computer. Hold it down for about 30 seconds or so.

I'm hoping a dialogue box will pop up in iTunes that says, "There is a problem with your iPhone that requires it to be restored or updated" we want to try updating if possible.
