Hi I just bought a new device xs 64gb space grey my question is the model number on my device starts with N not M does this mean this is a replacement device not new

Go here: Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support and check the warranty coverage of your iPhone. If it is not one year from the day you purchased it then it may not be new. Where are you buying these iPhones?
