iPad Air screen rotation is not working

My iPad Air screen rotation is not working whether the lock rotation option is on or off.

Is this in all situations or just some? Not all apps permit rotation.


If you haven't done so, reboot your iPad: Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time (keep holding past the swipe to shut down) until the Apple Logo appears, then let go and your iPad will reboot.


If that doesn't help and you have ensured in Control Center, the lock icon isn't turned on, then schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar.
