Apple Watch 3 randomly goes into static screen

Yesterday morning when my alarm went off, I went to hit the snooze to find a static screen instead. I was unable to do anything at the time. Once the screen went to sleep, my screen came back. This happened several times yesterday, eventually did a reboot. Charged it overnight and woke up to the static again. I was able to tap the screen where the snooze function is and it still worked. Seems to be a display issue. Any thoughts?
