I’ve recently bought the apple watch series 4 and for some reason Strava wont open or work on the watch. Both my watch and iphone is up to date on software and has the latest installed. How do I get strava to work on my watch?

Ok I would suggest you reset your watch. Press the crown and side button in untill the Apple logo appears. Then Check your Watch is updated to 5.2.1and your iphone is running ios 12.3.1. Then try again. Also check your Bluetooth is on your iPhone and watch.
Strava had the same issues as myself. I did the same thing that the guy above did. Updated the watch to watchOS 5.2.1 and my iPhone XS to 12.3.1 then rebooted, and it worked. I recommend this for those who need help with this still.

So when I go and click ‘connect a new device to strava’ , apple watch does not come up as an option for a type of device.
