PDF won't close

I have a couple of PDF's on my mac desktop that i can't close. what is the solution?

Yes, they would not close in preview. I think that i solved the issue. It looks like my preview program was stuck... i simply restarted the mac after force closing preview...

pdf won't quit I recently opened a pdf file and instead got a message that says "Work with PDFs while browsing the web" and has some buttons to click and an X button too. But nothing works, I click on all possible buttons but it won't do anything. I can't force quit it either, nor can I force shutdown. My Mac won't shutdown at all because pdf is blocking it. PDF malware? Since 2 days... When I have a Word document (MAC Word) and save it as a PDF file i grows from 150 kb as a Word-file to 2,2 GB as a PDF. NO pictures. Normally it would keep the same size or a little less. I have tried to save the text as unformatted text in a new document, save, and then formatting again. Same problem. The problem seems to be in the conversion to PDF. And when trying to reduce file size when it has become a PDF, it simply doesn´t work, it is just "chewing" and only way to get it to stop is to do a "hard restart". Suggestions?

Cant open any PDF document Hi I cant open any of my PDF from my Mac. I have force to quid Preview application and reopen it but nothing change still failed to open. Thank you
