Hi mszig,

Since you're creating a booklet, not a book, I'd suggest waiting for a post from Peter, Viking or Peggy. Your biggest issue is likely the need to impose the booklet pages onto the paper in the order required to produce a booklet when the paper is folded and stapled—an issue that doesn't really arise when writing an Ebook.

Any of the three I mentioned above can likely give you better advice than I on imposition software. All three are fairly regular contributors here.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Barry. But, as I'm sure you know, I rarely use the post-2013 versions of Pages. On the very rare occasion I have to create a booklet I copy the PDF I create from Pages file to my Snow Leopard Mac & use CocoaBooklet. CocoaBooklet required a Java hack to run in Leopard & Snow Leopard & didn't work on any system from Lion on. There was a service called Create Booklet Service but the link I have to it no longer works. It was handy to create the booklet directly from the print dialog after you installed the service. There maybe some newer programs available in the Mac App Store or on MacUpdate.com to do the imposition.

No matter what program or service you use, for US letter size booklets, I find it best to create them in legal size in a larger font size to make the proportions better. International paper sizes are much easier to deal with since proportions are the same - A3 being 2 A4 pages, etc.
