Safari problem

Hi,

I've been using Safari Technology regularly but I've recently returned to normal Safari.

One of these days, I noticed that a phrase appeared in various places of the browser, with the following text: "localized string not found" — See picture.

I do not remember anything that motivated this, I can not remove anything or access to the Preferences (see picture).

In another user's area, it's working fine.

If anyone knows how to solve this problem, I appreciate it.

Best regards,

Carlos

See if it is normal in the Safe Mode.

Safe Mode - About

If it works in the Safe Mode, try running this program when booted normally and then copy and paste the output in a reply. The program was created by Etresoft, a frequent contributor.  Please use copy and paste as screen shots can be hard to read. Click “Share Report” button in the toolbar, select “Copy to Clipboard” and then paste into a reply. This will show what is running on your computer. No personal information is shown. Hi, Eric

Only now can I answer your message, which I thank.

In "Safe Mode" does not get "normal", the aspect is the same as can be seen in the image that I attached.

As I said, in my wife's area is normal, does not appear the phrase "localized string not found" in the two initial folders (left column), in the top bar and even in the "preferences"...

Any idea what it could be?...

Thank You,

Carlos

...

I can't delete any folders or links, but these work, nor can I access the Preferences.

In Image 2, you can see Safari Technology Preview on the left and right side of Safari. The bookmarks are the same but, in the first two folders, the phrase appears. Also the preferences in Safari Technology work, and on the right, those in Safari do not, as you can see, with that phrase everywhere.

In Image 3, what appears when I press the right mouse button.

I went to the Library/Preferences and deleted everything that was from Safari and I did restart. It didn't work.

Hi,

I don't even know what else to do about this problem.

Please see in the images that I send the phrase "localized string not found" that appears not only in two or three folders in the left column as also in the "Preferences", and "Customize Toolbar", etc.

Since I can't uninstall Safari and install it again, I've cleared the preferences and other Safari-related files But it didn't work.

Now, Safari Technology Preview is no longer upgradeable to High Sierra and I see that I will have to be radical and format the disk back to install all over again...

If anyone has any brilliant ideas, I appreciate it.

Thanks
