Apps that are not "compatible" with iPad

My aunt recently reset her iPad 2 and gave it to me since she upgraded to a newer version of iPad. I went to download apps and the most simple apps are not "compatible" with iPad. I cannot download Netflix, Google, Hulu, ect. even though she was able to have these apps on the same iPad before she reset it. Why is it doing this and how do I fix it?

There are still ways to get older versions of apps for that older iPad.

Do you own any newer iDevices?

Do you own a real computer with iTunes installed on it?

She had older versions of the apps on the iPad. Once reset, the only versions available for you to acquire are newer versions that will not run on such an old model.
