Want to clean device

Want to remove all apps i don't use. How do i do that? I remember you would connect your phone and your purchase up would come up and it was easy to remove. Now I don't even know how to navigate.

iTunes on a computer is no longer used to manage Apps on an iPhone. You can uninstall apps on the phone itself by lightly touching and holding any app until all of the apps start to jiggle and then tap the x on the ones you want to delete. Then tap the Home button to stop the jiggling. See the following for more information: How to delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
