I am attempting to import a jpg logo file for use in the return address portion of an envelope. The size of the image is 1.75" x .7". After importing into the Gallery, Pages ups the image to a minimum size of 3.45" x 1.39" and I can't make it any smaller.

Drag and drop the image onto the Pages document. From the Arrange tab, set Text Wrap to None. Further down on the Arrange panel, enter the specific desired width and height settings for the image, and then position appropriately.

Thanks, that is what I would intuitively have done, but somehow I got into that Gallery thing and went down the tubes. Thanks for setting me straight.
