I own a 2015 MacBook Pro and all was well until it just turned off and now I can't turn it on.
I tried resetting the SMC and that wouldn't work either.
The only programs that were running at the time of the crash were Safari and VLC
Does anyone have an idea why this could've happened and how to fix it?

As the article mentioned, if it still doesn't turn on, the next step would be to make a Genius Bar appointment at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider to have them take a look and provide you with your options. Good luck!
