i just noticed that there are these thick darkish lines that only appear when I’m using the back camera on my iPhone 7plus. It appears with any app I use including the camera app and I can tell it’s not the screen, just the camera. I’ve tried cleaning the camera and I don’t see any cracks or damage.

I see you are having issues with the rear-facing camera on your iPhone and dark bands or lines appearing in all apps and usages that involve the camera.
If those lines are present in all images and are in the same place, then this does point to an issue with hardware and not a software issue. In that case, your best course of action will be to arrange to have someone inspect the iPhone and go over service options with you.
