I lost my cellular service connection

I updated my Iphone 7 to the newest update out on the market and I lost my cellular service connection. I reinstalled the update as Apple suggested and regained service for only a couple hours before losing it again. What can I do differently? Other than go to Verizon for another replacement on the same type model for a second time. As I have had a service issue before with this model. I am about to be switching to Galaxy Android if I continue to have issues with Apple updating my phone and service. It is unfair to me as a user for Apple to make updates that pressure me to buy the newest Iphone. I do not want to pay for a new Iphone after paying a 1000 dollars for my current Iphone. Especially when the cost to produce the item is far less than the profitable price listed in stores.
