The battery on my 2-year old magic trackpad 2 is on its last legs. Holds charge for just over a week now.
Is it possible to replace the battery? Or do I need a new trackpad? If the latter, how do I safely recycle the old one?
You could just continue to use it with a cable to the computer or a phone charger.
I can (and I am). But I prefer to have less cable clutter on my desk. So I would like to restore full wireless functionality.
So to rephrase my original question:
Is the battery serviceable?
If I replace it, is the trackpad covered by Apple's recycling program and if so, how does one return it?
