My itunes recognises most devices except an old ipad that I don't have passcode to. Any tips to help me reset it? Don't mind losing everything if it will let me choose a new passcode and start again without itunes?

Think its an ipad 2 but not sure

You've tried : If iTunes doesn't recognize your iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support ?

If you have, and if you don't have access to another computer you could try with, is there an Apple Store or authorised repairer nearby that you could take it to ?
