Can’t Change App Store back to Australia

I downloaded an app (I think it was Patreon) and iTunes switched me to the US store to do this. I thought nothing more of it. I now have about 33 apps that need updating and it won’t allow me to as it says I’m still using the US App Store. I’ve followed the instructions to switch my ID back in settings but it won’t allow me to as I have 20 cents credit and it insists I spend it. For starters that’s AUD 20 cents and secondly you can’t actually spend 20 cents so I’m stuck in the US store and can’t update my apps. Any ideas? It was happy to change me to the USA. Not so easy to come back.
