I've recently purchased a BENQ PD3200U to serve as my external monitor for my laptop. I am having a lot of issues using the Macbook with this monitor. Even though I'm keeping the Benq resolution native I consistently have issues with windows in terms of:
- Resizing them -- Unless I very carefully line up my mouse, do a long click, and slowly resize; then I am unable to resize my windows
- Drag and Drop -- When moving windows around, I try to drag them from the top bar and often times this triggers a resize of the window unprompted. As if I double clicked(which I didn't)
- Slight Lag -- If I keep my macbook pro monitor open and do dual screens, sometimes things can get a little slow. Usually I close my macbook and work from the external monitor alone.
I really like the resolution and quality of this monitor, but I've found using it with my laptop is very challenging. To the point where I've started avoiding using the monitor.
Can anyone help me remedy this situation? All of my peripherals(Mouse, Keyboard, Etc) work fine if I use my macbook alone. Problems only come up with the external monitor.
Thanks!
