iphone shows caller id but ipad says “unknown”

Can anyone help me reestablish caller ID on my iPad? iPhone shows caller ID but ipad says “unknown”

iPad Pro, iOS 12

Make sure the settings on your iPhone and iPad are set the same way. See this link about Continuity Services:

Thanks - tried them all but nothing’s working. Apparently my old iPhone 5 is not totally compatible with a new iPad Pro 😕

iPhone 5 is now quite old and locked forever at iOS 10.3.3. But I don't know if that would prevent using Continuity Services. You should contact Apple Support for a definitive answer on this.
