Safari is frozen!

My Safari browser has been frozen for more than a month now. I am unable to use it, nor close the tabs that were open when it froze. I have tried force quitting it a number of times. It does force quit, but the moment I fire it up back again, it still shows all the open tabs and its frozen! Kindly help me fix this problem.
