I have Mail on my laptop - I can no longer use it as I now get a message saying Mail cant verify identity of server

I can no longer use Mail on my laptop. I get a message saying 'the certificate is invalid. Mail cant verify identity of server outlook office 365.com'

I bought MicrosoftOffice with word etc in 2011 - do I have to buy it again?

MacBook Air 13", macOS 10.14

Don't know if that's actually related to your problem, but Office 2011 is no longer supported by Microsoft.
