Is there a way to avoid being interrupted by the dictionary prompt?

Is there a way to deactivate the dictionary? I'm a writer, the dictionary interrupt me all the time with 'errors' and searches I would never ask to make (I know what I'm writing; Even if I use uncommon words); I tried to deactivate it, but it is 'necessary' for the system... Or should I have to install another Operative System to avoid being interrupted?

It is giving me an amazing hard time.

My OS is Mojave.

Thanks!

Did you turn off the spell checking in the Keyboard System Preferences, Text tab?
