Unknown error occurred (-42408) while syncing itunes to iphone

When I sync my XR Iphone to Itunes via my mac (running majave 10.14.5) I get the message 'iphone cannot be synce. an unknown error occurred (-42408).'

I recently updated to majave 10.14.5 so not sure if this is a problem related to that. A few weeks ago I went to sync my phone to the Mac and it didn't recognize the phone - I had to restore it which is when the music I had loaded to the phone was gone. there are some songs on the phone but not near what I had.

What does this message really mean and how can I get my music back on my phone? Thanks!

Thanks! I did check some of your article before I submitted my question. The error message wasn't on the list of error messages...it would be helpful to add that. The interesting thing was that today I went to Itunes store and noticed that the 'cloud' symbol was spinning. When I tried to click on a song or navigate around Itunes store I got a new message ' 9039'...when I clicked ok, another message came up - 11571. So I searched on these 2 error messages on your database of communities and found some comment with the same error messages. The solution to resolve those messages was to go to accounts in itunes and log off.

I did that and then quit Itunes. I then reopened Itunes and was able to sync my phone and my music appeared on my phone.

I really think that the latest update that I made to my Mac for Mojave version 10.14.5 did this to Itunes.
