Itunes will not sync

I have been using an old Iphone5 for just taking pictures and recording voice memos since I replaced it with a newer phone. Both phones had been syncing OK for a few weeks so I could download photos and voice memos to my Dell desktop WIN10 PC.

Yesterday the Iphone5 stopped being synced to the PC in Itunes so i can't download voice memos to it. The newer phone stills sync OK in Itunes. I get an unknown error (0xE8000000C) with the Iphone5 in Itunes.

Any way to fix this
