I have an old 2009 21.5" iMac, and was wanting to clean it up and sell it.

In order to reset it to factory defaults, I restarted holding command+R to load up recovery macOS utilities. I then opened Disk Utility, erased the hard drive, and went to reinstall macOS Sierra. It lets me choose the drive I want to install on, and within a few seconds of starting the installation an error prompt pops up and states "amd-action:downloadproduct:sp", and has either Cancel or Retry as buttons to click.

I've read multiple forums that say changing the shared users folder helps, but since the HDD was deleted, none of those filepaths are in the system.

I've also tried resetting the time and entering in the csrutil enable/clear commands, but that didn't work.

I'm at a bit of a loss - Anyone else deal with this issue?

Thanks
