Unable to update watchOS software

Trying to pair again my series 3 Apple Watch with my iPhone 7s, unable to update watchOS to the current version. Updates always fail...went to Genius Bar, still not working! Any suggestions welcome, thanks!

WatchOS will not update My Apple Watch 6 is on WatchOS 7.3.3, and I cannot update to a new version. Several times, it prompted me to do an evening update, and I set it up to do so, but it failed to update. Now, when I go to the Watch app on my phone and go to the General -> Software Update page, it says: “To update the software on your Apple Watch, you first need to update the software on your iPhone.” the problem is that my iPhone is on iOS 14.8 and it claims to be up to date. when I try to update from the Watch, it says: ”Checking for update…” ”Unable to Check for Update An error occurred while checking for a software update” I have already tried rebooting both devices, and I even unpaired and re-paired my watch with my phone. This had no effect, and I was still unable to update the watch.

Unable to update software on Apple Watch When trying to update my watch through my iPhone, it says “To update the software on your Apple Watch, you first need to update the software on your o phone”. It is current with updates, without upgrading to iOS 16. It won’t update directly on Watch. Watch says “unable to check for Update. An error occurred while checking for a software update”. I have restarted both Watch and IPhone, disconnected and reconnected Watch to phone and still get the same message. thank you.

Apple Watch Series 3 unable to update to watchOS 8.6 I just got a new iPhone 13 pro and I had a series 3 watch and it gets stuck during the update.. I have included a screen shot where it gets stuck.. I have completely reset both phone and watch multiple times and same thing everytime.. [Re-Titled by Moderator]
