GHOST TOUCHES

I have an iPhone X and I have a cracked screen- I have been experiencing extreme ghost touches but its intermittent- any suggestions for stopping it from happening? I could go days without any issues and then have a few days where i can't even use my phone because it hangs up phone calls, changes songs, opens apps, deletes things, exits apps, types on the keyboard, posts stickers and gifs in the comments sections on Facebook- i'm at my wits end but cant afford the hundreds of dollars to replace the screen help!!
