Smart battery case for iPhone XS

The smart battery case is always charging the phone? Even when the phone's charge is already full? There is no way to turn it on and off whenever I like?

iPhone SE (2020), iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case & iOS 14.8 I just upgraded the iOS on my iPhone SE (2020) with an iPhone 7 Smart Battery Case to 14.8 and now my iPhone will not charge unless I remove it from the Smart Battery Case. Has anyone else run into this and if so, is there a remedy? Thanks.....

Apple Smart Battery Case iPhone 11 Pro Max Does the Apple Smart Battery case cause the battery in the iPhone to degrade faster? Is it safe to use? Also I have heard that when the case is connected it utilizes the battery from the case first then it begins to draw from the iPhone when the case is depleted. However since I have connected the case my battery on my iPhone always presents as charging. Is this also normal and now my concern is that I’m doing more harm than good by using the case.

Hello,

The iPhone has built-in circuitry to prevent it from additional charging when it is charged to capacity. So no, it won't continue to charge:
