Random display issue Macbook Pro 2017

The retina display of my 2017 macbook pro suddenly was not displaying correctly as you can see on the attached photo. I just closed it then opened after a minute then that happened. Since it is out of warranty, is there any recent news about Apple giving a free fix for this?

Not that I know of, but you can bring it to any Apple Store for a free evaluation in or out of warranty.
