Apple Watch Series 3 intermittently not charging

Anyone else experiencing intermittent issues, attempting to charge Apple Watch series 3 (one month old) using charger that comes with Apple S3 watch. No problems charging, for the first few weeks.

Now I see the green charge symbol, but phone sometimes is not actually charging.

This morning, Apple Watch Series 3, had the following message displayed (while connected to charger that came with Apple S3 watch!!):

"Charging not supported by this device."

Apple Watch Series 3, watchOS 5

A one month old device is comfortably within Apple’s 12 month warranty. Contact Support and arrange a Genius Bar appointment where you can get the watch and charging accessories all checked together. (My guess is it will turn out to be a damaged or defective magnetic charging cable, so if you have a spare one available you could try testing by substitution)
