Can't download music to Apple Watch

My Apple watch is connected to power and when i choose music downloaded on my iPhone to send to Apple watch it says "pending" for 3 seconds and nothing happens. It says "no music".

Apple watch has stopped playing downloaded music I have successfully played music on my apple watch many times before, without iPhone present. Now it won't play the downloads on the watch anymore. I click on play with apple watch and it just flashes and says connecting. The watch is connected to my airpods as I can play podcasts from the podcast app fine. This problem occurs intermittently. I have restarted the watch several times.

Try resetting your watch by pressing in the crown and side button until you see the Apple logo, then release both.
