System font - my computer isn't allowing me to delete

Which one are you trying to remove? There are 38 fonts in that folder that don't really need to be there if you are an English speaking user and don't need access to Braille. But the rest are required.

Certain fonts, like other system files are protected and cannot be deleted.

LastResort is a required font. There's also no valid reason to remove it.

• The Library folder in your System folder: /System/Library/Fonts. These fonts are required by your Mac and can't be disabled in Font Book.

Nobody knows more about Fonts on the Mac than Kurt Lang. :)
