Account Scam by phone

I received a phone call from a man who claimed my Apple account had been hacked, and had details on purchases that had been made to my account. He was willing to refund the money back to my account, but could not provide me with the last four of the credit card that was used for these illicit purchases. He DID have my email address and phone number. He asked me for account information, which I refused to provide, asking, instead, that he send me an email with details of the problem for me to review. He then told me that he would inform Apple that I was a "suspicious customer" which would disallow the refund. Eventually, he hung up on me. I checked all accounts, and found there had been no purchases or debits to my accounts. This guy was convincing and aggressive, so beware if you receive a similar call.

You're right, it was a scam. Apple doesn't call you to inform about your account being hacked even if your account would be hacked.
